Trust caution

It was brought to my attention that Radio 4’s Moneybox raised the issue of living trusts being sold by often unregulated individuals and businesses.

I would like to point out I have never recommended such Trusts as it was  obvious to me that they would not work for either inheritance tax or potential care home liabilities.

I am regulated by  both STEP ( Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners) and CILEX ( Chartered Institute of Legal Executives).
